In the world of fountain pens, there are very few offerings for a retractable nib. BOLT is our new bolt-action retractable nib fountain pen crafted in full bronze with an innovative air-tight silicone mechanism.
Bronze will patina over time and some patina might already be on the surface when the pen reaches the customer. This patina can be removed with any bronze cleaning products.

AIR-TIGHT MECHANISM
We developed an innovative air-tight mechanism that seals the nib from exposure to air when the pen is closed/retracted. There is a silicone seal with an 'X' cut that allows the nib to go through and naturally seals off when the nib is retracted. The mechanism has been tested for over one year and it allows the nib to remain wet for months.
BOLT-ACTION OPERATION
For quick, one-hand operation, our pen relies on a bolt-action mechanism in which a crown at the end of the pen is pushed forward to extend the nib. As soon as the crown is moved away from the lock position, the spring automatically retracts the nib. This simple solution is ideal and has minimal components.
FULL BRONZE
This BOLT limited edition, is entirely precision-machined from full bronze bars. Bronze will patina over time and some patina might already be on the surface of the pen when it reaches the customer. This patina can be removed with any bronze cleaning products.
INTERCHANGEABLE NIBS / INK CONVERTER
BOLT comes equipped with an ink converter for bottled ink. Its nib system is interchangeable and nibs in extra fine, fine, and medium points are available.

OPTIONAL CLIP
We designed an optional clip in full bronze. This clip adds versatility for every-day-carry. The clip assembly consists of three parts: pen connector, clip (polished steel), and end cap. Follow the directions in the instructions video to correctly install the clip. Purchase separately.
